One County. One Magazine.
Entering its fifth year in business, Living Jackson has established itself as the premier publication serving Jackson County and her surrounding areas including the upscale four-county area around Braselton. Targeted at the many rich experiences Jackson County boasts, Living Jackson has been embraced by residents and businesses all around the area.
Local talent comprises the Living Jackson team. We’ve grown up here, we’ve moved here and fell in love with the land; we’re involved in community, civic, and nonprofit organizations. In both business and our personal lives, the Living Jackson staff is representative of the people of Jackson County.
Living Jackson was the first and remains the only magazine to promote information specifically about Jackson County, informing residents, area citizens, and visitors alike about our county’s unique combination of old southern charm and traditional lifestyle merged with today’s technology and amenities. We moved to environmentally happy recycled paper in 2009 – the only publication in this area, and one of few nationally, to take an active role in protecting our environment.
As a company, Living Jackson also serves the community. Our readers can visit with our staff at most of the county’s events and festivals, which we support with our attendance and promotion. We make our editorial and advertising pages readily available to area nonprofit and civic organizations. Living Jackson Magazine, launched in 2006, had a mission to be a member of the community and serve the community. We have succeeded.
Meet our Staff
“A big ‘thank you’ for your beautifully written and presented periodical. I moved here from Mississippi, and without your knowing it…you quickly became my best friend. Having been very active in my community in Mississippi it was somewhat stifling to find myself without a local network in place to begin my slow but deliberate acclimation to Jefferson.
But, with your help and that of your advertisers, I found a wealth of resources to plan both my wedding this past June and various events to widen my opportunity to make new friends.
Thank you so much for your efforts and that of your advertisers! I love my new home!”
