Buderim9 Cycling Challenge 2018 (Short edit) – Supporting the Cerebral Palsy League // by Argon Law

(upbeat music) – So, the Buderim9 Challenge
is a cycling event, that’s held just before
Christmas every year to raise money for cerebral palsy. – Without the Buderim9 funding, it’s very difficult for families to raise the funds themselves. Therapists spend a lot of
time applying for funding for our families and having the Buderim9 funding there and easily available, and, especially for our local
families, just is remarkable. – So last year we had exactly 50%, made the nine hills in under three hours. So, it’s a real challenge, a lot of people, it’s the major focus for the year. – It’s such a tough event, but great community
involvement, volunteers, all the cyclists, everyone, who is involved in cycling, loves to be around this event, because of what it means to the community, helping out in a charity sense. – This year we had 319 riders, absolutely fantastic, great achievement to
see a growth key going in this sort of climate, as well as these are more
cycling events happening, and all that sort of things, so, when we get more and more riders, we must be doing something right. (upbeat music)
