Downhill Monument Mountain Bike Trails at Hobbs State Park that a Beginner Could Shred Too!
Hi, my name is Cody and you’re watching
Lunch Ride. Not too long ago when Matt and I went out to Hobbs State Park there
were some new trails that were just about to open called the Monument trails.
so we decided to go back and check out the two new downhill lines called
Sawtooth and Timberjack. The brief rundown is that they’re two
exceptionally fun beginner slash intermediate trails with rollers, jumps, and
berms. There’s no hard lips on the jumps and everything is rollable which makes
it a blast even for beginners. Now, I’m not gonna talk too much about it.
I want the sounds of the trail to speak for themselves… Once you get to the bottom, both Sawtooth
and Timberjack lead to the same place and the trail designers really outdid
themselves because the return climb that goes up through the middle of them is
not bad at all. I mean, at all! it’s amazing I don’t even
know how they did it, but it feels like the only return trail that I’ve ever
been on that was also fun. if you want to boost them and jump and
clear stuff you can but if you just want to flow over it and kind of ride it with
your wheels on the ground you totally can and still have a blast and not be
bucked around like some trails. It’s taught me since I like really get behind
your bike you almost put your pedaling a seat just get those elbows out. Well, my
name is Cody and you’re watching Lunch Ride. If you liked the video, if you
