[ EP:72] കനത്ത മഴയും, മഞ്ഞും,പിന്നെ പട്ടിയും 😁/Dog Attack me,while riding to gabala,azerbaijan🇦🇿
[Music] Hello guys, greetings to everyone! Time is 8.30 AM. I’m now in Azerbaijan. In the capital city Baku. We’re going to Qabala. Qabala is the place where most of the tourist people visit for tourist purposes. Just like Ooty, Munnar, Kodaikanal in our country, if you come to Azerbaijan, you need to visit Qabala. It’s 215 kms far. Amina is all set and have packed everything. They’re already late for their classes, just waiting for me. Then, we can leave to Qabala. There are many activities and things to do in Qabala. From today you’ll be seeing that. Traffic block. It’s raining as well. Cold and rainfall. There was no rainfall here after I came here. Map shows 210 kms. Oh, we need to ride through this road. No U-turn. Here in few places, we can’t take left on signals. Since it’s a one-way, there won’t be option for that. But Google Maps shows to go. If we go, we’ll get fine as well. [Music] From here you can see that there are many houses on hills. It’ll be a nice place for photographers. One problem is that after rain, the road is wet. So, the bike’s grip will be less and slippery. Less in the sense, I didn’t apply brakes yet. I’m driving in medium speed. After rain, it’s dirty here and there. The speciality of the route we’re going is, snowy mountains. Qabala is the coldest place in Azerbaijan. Means it’s the place where snow fall occurs. In the morning, I got a namaste. Qabala is the place where we can see snowfall in AB. Just like Ardabil & Rasht it is also similar. But here we won’t be finding difficult like that, but enjoy! Filling petrol. For 6 Manat, we’ve got 6.7 litres. So for 1 litre, it is like 40 rupees. 1 Manat is 40 rupees. It was 6 Manat so filled 6.7 litres. Petrol is there but since it will snow in the route, it’s better to fill the tank. We don’t want to take any risk in snow. Even though if there is petrol, it is better to fill. And the visuals you’ve seen so far will be a bit blurred, see the camera. It has formed mist on camera. These gloves are bought from Ardabil. We’re using it first. There’s no safety. Because if we need to take the hands out immediately, it’ll get stuck. All these parts are waste. See the dog! [Music] This is an awesome road. Good views. On left and right, we’ve grass. There’s no snow. But it’s very cold and windy. When riding bike, it’s getting tilted on one side. Now we’re going on the side of Russia. Qablan is in Russian border. It’s in Azerbaijan-Russian border. We’ve traveled 100 kms so far. Still we’ve 125 kms to go. See the houses here. Not sure if this is a farming land, the lands are ploughed straightly. It’s full of mountains. Far away, we can see Windmills. That I’ll show you when we go over there. On left side you can see, the place is developed. And walls are very strong. Great! We started around 8.30 AM. Now time is 10.30 AM, almost took 1 hour 75 minutes…. sorry.. In 1hr 45mins we covered 100 kms. Since I’m wearing this gloves, to switch on camera, I couldn’t press. Windshield is nasty. Need to clean it. Also the roads are very nice. It has the same quality everywhere. There is no potholes or anything. I myself maintained 100 kmph and I’d no need to lower the speed. These sides are dry, it was wet in Baku. Here there’s no rain. Hence it’s a dry road. So every road side has rails on the sides and a grit as well, when someone needs to halt a vehicle. For safety, they’ve done this. There’s an old vehicle going there and there are many old cars here. From here on we’ll see snow, this is a small village. We’ll leave now. When we were in UAE and traveled from Sharjah-Khor Fakkan, we saw a similar thing. A Police car. Not an actual car but a dummy. This is a fool people. When people see this from a distance, they’ll slow down the vehicle thinking it as police. The same was in Khor Fakkan, after the tunnel. Then here people are working. They’re using a spade to dig. They’re not working, but talking to each other. Oh dear police, you shouldn’t fool people like this. It started to rain now. Rain is not a problem but it is like water inside a freezer. From here I’m able to see Snowy mountains. Yesterday was sunny. But today it’s raining. I thought that I can easily come here but nature had different ideas saying that you’re an adventure traveler, so go like this. That’s what it’s happening. I’m riding slowly because road is wet. If I want to sudden brake, it might be tough to brake in such surfaces. So going slowly. Still 109 kms more to destination. There are a lot of activities. There are lot. I’ll show you all activities. I’m planning to make 5-10 episodes in Qabala. It’s raining heavily. If it rains and sun shines, they say fox is getting married. Not sure whose marriage is if it rains and snows. You can see the road, not sure if it’s oil or ice, there’s no grip. If there’s no grip, when we brake, it’ll skid. On the right is a bus stop. No seating in that. It’s a small roundabout. Earlier as I said, after 13 kms I need to take left. I stopped with doubt, but it’s the one. Gloves is like, I don’t know where my fingers are. Very loose gloves. Till we reach there, we need to adjust. There’s no decrease in cold after wearing this. But water is not entering in, that’s a good thing. As the gloves are thicker, we couldn’t move our fingers. If a glove is expensive, it doesn’t mean it is a good one. We should wear and try it, then only need to buy. Till we reach there, we can use normal gloves. Where are you coming from? Ah Malayali? I’m coming from Kerala. I’m from Kannur. I’m alone. My house is in Irutti. How did you reach here? I… I came to Oman and Dubai, then to Iran and now I’m here. [Shakir]Where are you guys going? [They]Qabala. [Shakir] Do you know anyone there? [They] We came for tour. We came from Dubai and then here. I was in Dubai for 20 days. I shipped bike to Oman, then rode from there. [They]Where in Dubai? I went to almost all places. In bike. There are many Malayalees here. They’re here for tourism purposes. We’re from Dubai. Hi.. We’re from Calicut. How many days trip? For 5 days, Baku and Qabala. We’ll see from Qabala. Very proud since you came from Kannur, Kerala. Surely! We can go in and have breakfast. Time is already 10.30 AM. Breakfast time is up. When they saw me, they were very happy. Also, there were other state people with them as well. Everyone came from Dubai in tour package and going to Qabala. When they say to other state people like “See he’s from our hometown…”, you should see their face. They were so proud to say that. There was also a bro from Kannur. It was a proud moment. Even though it was cold, still I got goosebumps. I’m very happy. One more thing, I’m uploading videos to YouTube, people are seeing that, doesn’t mean everyone knows me. Those who don’t use social media, won’t know me. There are many such people. You can copy the link of video, or the video which you like, share it across your WhatsApp groups. I had a tea and cake. One thing is that, when comparing with Iran, AB is different. May be because it’s a tourist country. They’re requesting extra money. I had a tea and 2 cakes, two tiny cakes. For these, he charged 5 Manat. Almost 200 rupees. If a local person eats here, he might’ve not charged 5 Manat, may be 1.5 or 2. Maximum 100 rupees. If they know you’re tourist, they’re utilizing it. If you’re buying things from a shop and know you’re a tourist, they’ll utilize the chance. We wont be paying similar like locals. Iran was totally different. If we pay money, they’ll charge and return balance. But officials are not like that. After rain, everything is wet. We’ve changed the road. Not a highway, it’s a two-way road. Not one way. Need to be careful. It’s like riding hill top and down the hill. From here on, it seems like down the hill. Ice… After this trip, I’ll have enough with ice. It’s not cold for me. I don’t feel cold. The warm is well maintained. I’ve changed the gloves. It’s good. There’s flowers here and pickles. See they’re selling flowers. The wealth here is… the government has lot of money. With oil and other stuff. But still the people here are poor. No one knows why. Will show you a beautiful scene now. See people riding horse. See how nicely they’re going. Road is bad. We can only expect roads like this in climates like these. Then the adventures feel, when we go through such roads. We’re riding up hill. When I see this snow, I’ll feel like laughing. This is not a big deal as we already swam across ocean and when we see a small pond it’s not a big deal. Getting a Kashmir feel. Greeneries, snow and buildings, we can get feels like this in Kashmir. OMG!!! Did you see that? Just escaped. It was about to bite my legs. I thought it bit me. [Music] It’s like going to Ooty. Very cold. A bit of rain, now it’s less. My hands are like frozen may be cold air entered inside. Let’s see how far from here. Mobile became wet. Even in pocket water entered. We can keep it outside. From here it’s 44 kms to Qabala. There’s signboard. We’re going to a town Ismailli, the next stop is Qabala. Cattle will be there on road. As shown in sign board. See the trees on left and right side, all leaves have fell of and is in ground. Brown colored leaves and snow. We’ll be seeing more beautiful scenes in Europe. During festivals, there were people selling photos. Not sure if it is there still. Was there in my childhood. We used to buy photos of Sachin, Azaruddin, etc. In such photos, we can see natural photos just like these. Dried leaves, snow, etc. That’s what I’m remembering now. When seeing those in person is a unique feeling. At that time, we’ll feel sad and happy. Mixed emotions. The answer to “Why did I born?”, is what I’m showing now. To show scenes like this to many people. To see for myself. This is the aim of my life. Very beautiful places. Still 24 kms more. We’re in a small town, there are lots of school kids. Everyone is waving at me. Anyone has visited Ooty/Kodai, when you see this, do you get that feel? In my life, I’ve not visited Ooty, Kodai, Goa, anywhere. I didn’t go there. I’ve reached, where am I? Hands are red and frozen. Camera’s battery is dead. It turned off. That’s why couldn’t vlog. No time to change battery, some how need to enter room. Even this stick is very cold, couldn’t hold it. This is Qabala. Azerbaijan’s Ooty. We can say like that. We can get everything that we get in Ooty. Uphill, downhill, horses, donkeys, people, tourists, etc… With us we have… Rahul, introduce yourself. My name is Rahul, doing business in Qabala. I’m here for 11 years. How many years in AB? Totally 11 years. There’s a twist in his life, he has married to a Azerbaijani. We’ll get to know him. There are a lot of things here. Rahul bhai has setup many things here. We’re going to fishing. There are several activities. With Qabala’s special things… No with AB’s Ooty news, we can see in upcoming episodes.
