Fontana Educational. Perché comprare una eBike da strada [English sub.]
We are back to talk about e-bike…but not mountain e-bike but road e-bike..now let’s go the differences! Ok.. we are here with Focus Paralene squared.. it’s a road e-bike. It has Fazua engine with 250 Watt. It is a sort of gravel bike because it has 28″ tyres, because the frame is a little high and it’s very manageable and comfortable. This bike has no a lot of power , but its focus is to assist you.. you can go faster in ascend. Now let’s go test it! Well.. I’m not used to ride road e-bike..but this bike seems to be like a traditional road bike. You can feel the weight under your legs.. the biike is balanced and the 28″ tyres help you very much. So in the end we have a road e bike but it helps you till 25 kmh. I’m sure one of your questions will be “yeah.. but on level ground I ride at 35/40 km/h..” Yes, this bike can go at 35/40 km/h if you pedal stronger. You can feel less the weight on level ground and it hasn’t the same fluidity as a normal road bike but.. this bike is fast. You can reach speed and maintain it. It’s a little less performant on ascend because if you are in a group where the other are faster than you, your bike will struggle a little more. But in other situations it’s a real bomb! Probabily you don’t have the same power of the other e bike, but it guarantees a constant assistance! This bike consumes very little and you can ride a lot of kms. The braking system is really good because we have 160mm discs. You have a little more weight so you have to brake earlier. What suprises me is that this bike seems to have a turism motorbike, to do your quite trip and go everywhere. You can travel with this bike and have fun with friends.. Sure.. if you are in a Pro group you will probably struggle but if you go with friends you can stay in group and have satisfactions in ascend! I’m using MTB shoes and pedals.. and soon we will try ithis bike with knobby tyres to test it But now remind to register to our Youtube channel and we will seen soon! Bye!
